Privacy Policy

1. Who is the controller

The controller of personal data processed via the Service is ICARUS Systems. Contact: support@icarussystems.app.

2. What we collect

We only collect data that is strictly necessary to operate the Service:

• Account email — only if you purchase a paid product. It is used to sign you in via magic link and grant access to that product. The free tools require no account.
• Authentication tokens and session cookies — short-lived, set by our authentication provider (Supabase) only once you sign in to a paid product, to keep you signed in.
• Notification email and source — if you submit your email to a launch-notification form on the site, we store the email and the page that captured it, so we can let you know when the product is available.
• Purchase records — product slug, version, and the corresponding order id from our payment processor, so we can grant and verify access.
• Inputs you enter into the free tools (Survivor and Evaluate Your Edge — account balance, risk percentage, win rate, and similar) are processed entirely in your browser to compute results. They are never sent to or stored on our servers.

We do not collect: government IDs, social security numbers, bank account numbers, broker credentials, or live trading positions.

3. Why we process it (legal bases under GDPR)

• Contract performance — to deliver products you purchased and to authenticate your account.
• Legitimate interest — to keep the Service secure and to detect abuse, including basic server logs.
• Consent — to send you a launch-notification email when you submit your address to a notification form. You can withdraw this consent at any time by asking us to remove your email.

4. Sub-processors

We use the following third parties to operate the Service:

• Supabase (EU region) — authentication and database hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery.
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing, invoicing, and tax remittance (merchant of record).
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

Each sub-processor receives only the data needed for its function, and is bound by its own privacy commitments.

5. How long we keep data

• Account data: while your account exists, plus 30 days after deletion to handle billing disputes.
• Notification emails: until the product you asked to be notified about has launched, or until you ask us to remove them — whichever comes first.
• Purchase records: 10 years, as required by accounting and tax law.
• Server logs: 30 days.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and similar laws, you can:

• access the data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct inaccurate data;
• ask us to delete your account and associated data;
• export your data in a portable format;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent for processing based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@icarussystems.app. We respond within 30 days.

If you are located in France and consider that your data-protection rights are not respected, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) — www.cnil.fr.

7. Cookies

The free tools (Survivor and Evaluate Your Edge) set no cookies and can be used without any consent banner. The only cookies the Service uses are the strictly necessary session cookies set by Supabase once you sign in to a paid product, to maintain your authenticated session. We do not run analytics, advertising, or behavioural-tracking cookies at this time. If we add privacy-friendly analytics later, this policy will be updated and existing users notified.

8. International transfers

Where sub-processors are located outside the EU/EEA, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page and, for users with an account, announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
